Areca Treks and Tours was founded in Kalimpong with a single belief: the best travel experiences come from people who truly belong to a place. Our founders grew up in the shadows of Kanchenjunga, learning mountain trails before roads were built.

Over 15 years, we've grown from a small trekking outfit to a full-service travel company specialising in Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kerala, Rishikesh, Northeast India, Nepal, and Bhutan — always with the same ethos: personalised, responsible, and deeply local.
